Across India in Search of Authentic Craftsmanship
East India – West Bengal & Kolkata
In the weaving clusters of West Bengal, we witnessed craftsmanship that demands extraordinary patience and precision. Here, sarees are not produced in haste — they are created with devotion.
Handloom Jamdani: Artisans carefully weave delicate motifs directly into the fabric, thread by thread, requiring intense focus and weeks of dedication. Every Jamdani carries a softness and authenticity that machines simply cannot replicate.
Kantha Stitch: In rural villages, women spend months hand-embroidering intricate patterns, turning simple fabric into breathtaking storytelling pieces.
Aari Hand Embroidery: Near Kolkata, traditional Aari work is still done by hand — taking days or even months depending on complexity — preserving techniques passed down through generations.

Central & Western India – MP, Rajasthan & Gujarat
Our journey through North India led us to the historic weaving centers of Varanasi and Lucknow, where royalty and refinement define every thread.
Banarasi Handloom: Authentic Banarasi sarees woven in pure Katan silk take weeks to months to complete. Unlike powerloom versions, these handwoven masterpieces are detailed, rich, and meant to be treasured for years.
Women Weavers of Mubarakpur: In villages near Azamgarh, we saw skilled women playing a vital role in sustaining this centuries-old craft with remarkable dedication.
Chikankari of Lucknow: Known for its delicate, airy embroidery, each handmade Chikankari saree demands months of careful handwork, resulting in subtle elegance and timeless grace.

Central & Western India – MP, Rajasthan & Gujarat
In Central and Western India, tradition expresses itself through texture, lightness, and natural color.
Chanderi & Maheshwari: Celebrated for their lightweight feel and delicate motifs, these handloom sarees blend silk and cotton beautifully — a legacy that dates back centuries.
Natural Dye Block Printing: In Rajasthan and Gujarat, artisans use age-old block printing techniques like Ajrakh and Bagru. Natural vanaspati dyes require 15–20 days of careful processing, but the result is skin-friendly, eco-conscious authenticity.
Bandhani, Lehariya & Shibori: These timeless tie-dye traditions reflect vibrancy, patience, and regional identity — each piece uniquely handcrafted and impossible to duplicate exactly.

Our Process: From Artisan to Wardrobe
Sourcing & Craftsmanship
We collaborate directly with skilled artisans across India to bring you sarees made with authentic techniques and cultural heritage. Each piece is ethically sourced and crafted with care, ensuring that tradition and quality are preserved in every thread.
Quality & Care
Once the sarees reach us, each piece undergoes a detailed inspection for purity, weaving perfection, and finish. Every saree is tagged with its unique serial number and stored carefully in wooden almirahs to maintain its condition until it is ready for purchase.
Presentation & Photography
Our creative team thoughtfully photographs every saree to capture its true colors, textures, and intricate details. We focus on presenting each piece beautifully and accurately, helping you experience its elegance even before it reaches your hands.
Final Delivery
Before packaging, each saree is checked once more to ensure it meets our quality standards. We use secure, protective packing methods to keep the saree safe in transit, ensuring it arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition and ready to be cherished.
